ABOUT MIKE

Navigator/Strategist

Mike lives by the motto, “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail!”  He carries that motto into all aspects of his life.  He is a passionate lover of people. He believes that we are ALL created in the IMAGE of God and uniquely designed with the desires and passions of our hearts.

 

He also believes that the world needs us to live our most courageous lives. He says that we have to live courageously because it encourages everyone else to live courageously.

 

He and his wife have been married for 23 years. They have 2 college age children that are best friends. Mike and his wife are successful Realtor’s in the DFW area. Mike’s fascination with extreme weather goes back to his childhood days growing up in the Houston, TX area. He was actually terrified of tornadoes as a child and would have numerous dreams about them. In 1983 as a senior in High School he experienced his first Hurricane, Alicia. In 1988 while attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX he saw his first tornado. He returned to the Texas Coast in 2008 and took a direct hit from the eye of Hurricane Ike.

 

Mike’s extreme desire for people to be all they were made to be and his own pursuit of his own passions has led to who you will see on screen.

 

He is certified in NIMS/ICS through FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute. And TEEX certified in Wide Area Search. He is certified in Emergency First Aid, AED, CPR. And also certified through the National Association of Search and Rescue as a  Search and Rescue Technician III.

  • What makes you cry? People not having a loving and supportive family to encourage them to be all they were made to be.
  • What make you laugh? Myself, I laugh a lot at myself.
  • What do you want to be when you grow up? Astronaut
  • Who is the most famous person you’ve had dinner with? Tim Marshall
  • If you could do one thing over what would it be?  Would have started my Real Estate career right after college.
